Toast the English muffin until golden brown.

Next up: the patty. Season the sausage meat with a pinch of salt and pepper and form into a ball. Flatten into a patty. Preheat the grill. Once the grill is fully warmed up, cook the patty for 6-7 minutes on each side.

Now it’s time to cook the egg. Use a metal ring to get that perfect round sunny-side up. Brush the inside of the ring with oil and place it in a small frying pan. Pour a tiny bit of water inside the ring. Just enough to cover the base.

Bring the water to a boil. Place the egg into the ring and cover the pan. Let the egg cook for 2-3 minutes.

Time to assemble the sandwich. Top one half of the muffin with the patty. Next goes the egg, and then the cheese. Top with other muffin half and you’re done!
