Learn how to make a delicious honey latte … then caramelize it! Superbly sweet and delightfully creamy, this is the perfect drink to brighten any winter day. Crafted around Caffè Verona®, our Caramelized Honey Latte recipe is dripping in caramel and honey flavors dancing over a bed of roasty sweet coffee with notes of dark cocoa.
Place the honey, water and lemon juice in a small pan and bring to a steady simmer on medium heat while stirring.
Once the honey mixture begins to bubble, stop stirring and let the honey sit for 1–2 minutes until it deepens in color and releases a nutty aroma. That’s how you know it is caramelized.
Slowly pour and whisk in the milk until combined. Remove from heat.
Prepare espresso.
