Starbucks Honey Ginger Simple Syrup Recipe

A delicious way to spice up your coffee sweetener. This sweet, spicy syrup is perfect for flavoring iced coffee, cold brew or any of your favorite Starbucks® drinks. Keep it on hand to add a delicious splash of honey ginger to your morning cup any time.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
 ½ cup honey
 ½ cup water
 1 inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into pieces
 Starbucks® Breakfast Blend coffee
 Coffee creamer (optional)

In a small saucepan, combine honey, water and ginger and simmer for 35–45 minutes.

For a stronger flavor, use a 2-inch piece of ginger

Strain syrup into a jar. Discard ginger pieces, then let syrup cool before sealing the jar.

Prepare double-strength coffee in your preferred method. For optimal taste, we recommend using the coffee press method.

For double-strength coffee, double the amount of coffee grounds per serving. That is, if making one 6-oz cup of coffee, use 4 scoops of ground coffee instead of 2.
