Starbucks Mint-Infused Simple Syrup Recipe

Add a splash of this mint-infused simple syrup to your favorite coffee for a refreshing twist.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
 1 cup water
 1 cup sugar
 2 tsp vanilla extract
 1 cup resh mint leaves to taste (about a handful)

Mint-Infused Simple Syrup​

Combine water, sugar, mint and vanilla in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Stir continuously until sugar dissolves and the syrup comes to a boil.

Continue stirring for another 2 minutes, then remove from heat. You can either strain out the leaves or leave them to continue infusing the syrup.

Let cool completely (refrigerate), then pour about 2 Tbsp per 1 cup of (double-brewed) iced coffee (to taste).

Garnish with an extra sprig!
