More About The Starbucks Salted Caramel Café Au Lait Recipe
Learn how to make your own café au lait at home. Pronounced café o-lay, French for “coffee with milk,” this recipe is a perfect blend of sweet chocolate and caramel, all balanced with a light hint of salt.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
3 tsp dark chocolate sauce or syrup
5 ½ tbsp toffee nut syrup
6 oz brewed coffee
Fleur de sel or flaky sea salt
Whipped cream

Start with adding dark chocolate sauce and toffee nut syrup to your cup.

Add a pinch of sea salt.

Pour in hot coffee and stir to dissolve.

Add milk; cold is great, but hot is better.

Top it off with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and a sprinkle of sea salt.
