Tangy Parmesan Tilapia Recipe

This dish is a great way to show how tangy and parmesan can go together. Tilapia is a good source of protein, and the parmesan will help to give it that extra level of flavor. This dish can be served as is or you could put it on some toast for an easy meal.

 ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese
 2 tbsp Reduced-fat mayonnaise
 1 tbsp Butter, softened
 1 tbsp Lime juice
  tsp Garlic powder
  tsp Dried basil
  tsp Pepper
 Dash onion powder
 4 Tilapia fillets (5 ounces each)
 ¼ tsp Salt

Preheat broiler. Mix first 8 ingredients until blended.

Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with foil; coat foil with cooking spray. Place tilapia in pan; sprinkle with salt.

Broil 3-4 in. from heat 2-3 minutes per side. Spread cheese mixture over fillets. Broil until topping is golden brown and fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 1-2 minutes.
